Cross-Referencing Collision Information

This procedure describes how to cross-reference collision information using the Replay Tool Path

Video provides a list of collisions that occurred during material removal simulation. You can cross-reference and use this information regarding the collision to correct your tool path later, even after exiting the video window.

Complete the procedures as described in Accessing NC Manufacturing Verification and Comparing the Machined Stock Part and the Design Part, including:

Accessing NC Manufacturing Verification via Replay Tool Path
Clicking Full Video within the Replay dialog box
Selecting Setup Editor from the Window menu.

The Replay dialog box remains visible.

Note: Video simulation must be run at least once to use the cross-referencing functionality.

On the Replay dialog box, click Video Collision Report .

The collision report is generated and the `Collision Report` dialog box appears.

	Note that this `Collision Report` dialog box differs from that generated from the Video simulation. The non-video simulation `Collision Report` has a `Current MO` checkbox, which shows collisions that occurred in the machine operation that was selected to access the `Replay` dialog box. The video simulation `Collision Report` dialog box allows for filtering and display options.

Close both the Collision Report and Replay dialog boxes.
Click Replay Tool Path from the Tool Path Management toolbar.

Alternatively, right-click the operation in the PPR tree and select Replay Tool Path.
In the Replay dialog box, click Video Collision Report .

The Collision List dialog box appears.

Select any collision in the Fault selection list.

Select the Current MO check box to display collisions that have occurred in the current machining operation (MO) only.

In the 3D view, the tool is positioned at the start point of the selected tool path. Also visible is the tool path segment where the collision occurs. The collision location is indicated by a cross-mark.
