A

B

Body
A mechanical feature deriving from the HybridBody StartUp. It can contain solid features, but also surfacic features, excepted the volumes. It can be also named a solid and surfacic features set. It is an ordered set of features.

C

D

Datum
A geometrical feature without input geometrical specifications. It means that its topological result is always the same.

E

F

G

Geometrical feature
A mechanical feature with a topological result.
Geometrical feature set
A set of geometrical features. It can be a body, an Ordered Geometrical Set, or a Geometrical Set. It is a mechanical feature deriving from the MechanicalRoot StartUp.
Geometrical Set (GS)
A set of surfacic features which is not ordered.

I

J

L

M

Mechanical feature
A feature deriving from the MechanicalFeature StartUp, the highest level in the mechanical objects. All the mechanical features are included into the specification container of the Part document.

N

O

Ordered set
A set of geometrical features which is ordered.
Ordered Geometrical Set (OGS)
A set of surfacic features which is ordered.

P

PartBody
The main body of a Part document. It is automatically created in the new Part document, and cannot be deleted.

S

Solid feature
A 3D feature which can only be included into a body feature.
Solid features set
The former name of the body feature. It can only include solid features.
Solid and Surfacic features set
Another name for the body feature.
Surfacic feature
A geometrical feature of 0D, 1D, 2D, and even 3D dimension. It can be included into a surfacic features set, and a body.
Surfacic features set
A set of surfacic features. It is a mechanical feature deriving from the GSMTool StartUp.

T

W

Wireframe feature
A 1D surfacic feature.
