Selecting the BOM

When a project is created, it may define multiple product and resource structures. Different product structures can correspond to EBOMs (Engineering Bill of Materials) and MBOMs (Manufacturing Bill of Materials). Similarly, multiple resource structures can be created to represent the different sets of resources that a site may have. 

After the process and level of detailing have been selected, the user is prompted to select the BOM from which the products and resources will be loaded. A dialog is presented which lists all product and resource structures under the selected process which have been defined as BOMs in Process Engineer:
 

  1. Select the Product BOM by clicking on it to enable it.

  2. Select the Resource BOM by clicking on it to enable it.

  3. Click the OK button to load the products and resources from the selected BOM.
